The Doberman pinscher is, used in many different areas of the world, some of the Dobermans jobs consist of police officers, rescue dogs, therapy dogs, guard dogs, and the Doberman is still, used in the war as guard dogs and sentries. The Doberman is also, used as a therapy and service dogs.
The reason that the Doberman is, used for these types of jobs is because of the breed’s high level of intelligence. The Doberman is capable of thinking and reasoning therefore the dog can respond on his or her own. If the Doberman feels that, its owner is in some kind of danger or something happens, the Dobermans are, trained to act upon the situation.
The Doberman is, used as service dogs for the blind, hearing impaired, and the people who sometimes suffer from severe seizures. These people cannot usually live in a home alone and without some type of assistance. The Doberman allows them to live alone and still have a certain amount of their independence. The Doberman is the eyes for the blind and the ears of the person who cannot hear. The Doberman also stays close to a person who has seizers and helps the person to regain conciseness.
The Doberman is also a service dog for the individuals who fall easily or frequently. In these cases, the Doberman will stand close to the owner where the owner can use the dog’s body as a brace to help them stand upright again. The Doberman is, trained to stand with his or her legs spread widely and stiffened to become a solid object. Therefore, making it easier for the person to stand up by using the Dobermans body to brace and pull up on.
This does not hurt the Doberman because the Doberman is a large dog breed. The Doberman can withstand a great amount of weigh and pressure on its body. This is only in the case that the owner should accidentally fall. If the owner should fall and becomes injured then the Doberman can find help or will stay and protect the owner until help does arrive.
The area of service dogs is much wider than it was in the past. The Doberman was only, used for one or two of these areas in the past. However, now the service dog’s areas extends into the therapy, dog, and even the Doberman being; the arms and legs of a person living at home who has no useable limbs.
The Doberman is an amazing member of the canine species and the human race owes a great deal to this species. The Doberman continues to willingly, and happily serve man in any way that it can. Even to the point of sacrificing its own life in this service. The Doberman only wishes for the love, affection, and the attention that it receives from its owner as a form of payment. This seems like such a little form of payment for all of the things that this breed has done for man over the last several years.
