A Pekingese is a habitual creature. This means it will do many of the same things during the day. That it has done the day before and the day before that. Pekingese like routine and fall into regular habits quite well. This article will explain some of those habits and why the Pekingese breed is a habitual creature or a creature of habit. It all seems to be passed down for past generations in the Pekingese breed. Things we as humans cannot understand or do the Pekingese can from some internal force or urge.

Even though the Pekingese cannot tell time they do many of the same tings at the same times each day. As well as the exact same way as they did the prior day.

A Pekingese needs to be on a schedule, and it will remain on that schedule. Pekingese as well as other animals have sort of an internal clock. They can sense when it is time for something. This could be an activity, or an event that is the same time everyday. For instance they instinctively know when it is time for you to get up and going every morning.

They know when you will leave the house, as well as when you will return. They know when it is time to be fed, and when it is time to play, or to go for a walk.

This is for the most part unexplained behavior. Whether instinct or something else, we may never know for sure.

A Pekingese is accustomed to routine and do well in a household that follows a strict routine. Because of their nature this is easy for them to do. The Pekingese will habitually continue to do the same things everyday and never seem to tire of them.

Man humans seem to and do tire of the same old things everyday. Humans become bored and try to change their daily routines. However a Pekingese will not they like things the way they are. In fact if you change a Pekingese’s routine this could become a stressing situation to them.

Also by Pekingese being habitual, means they themselves will do the same things on their own each day. You Pekingese will get up at the same time everyday, even though it does not have to. The Pekingese will eat at the same time everyday.

The Pekingese will lay in the same places for naps. They will play with the same members of the group they are in everyday. The Pekingese will also relieve itself in the same place like it always has before. You may have a whole different variety of toys for the Pekingese to play with; however the Pekingese will only play with the same ones daily. They will also stay at a certain place or room inside your home. They do these things out of habit just as some people do. What is familiar to them they will continue to do throughout their lives. As Pekingese are habitual creatures.
